Black Barracuda – A Popular Budget Fish

Black Barracuda is one of the most common and easily available fish at the Karachi Fish Harbor. It is available all year round and the price stays stable, which makes it a great budget-friendly option for daily cooking.

The raw meat of Black Barracuda is pink with light grey edges. It is a delicate fish, so it needs to be handled and stored properly. In Pakistan, it is very popular for frying and is often served at roadside seafood stalls.

Average size: 2 to 4 kg per fish
